Rites Held For John R. Fountain

John Robert Fountain, 56, native of Taylor County, died Saturday night at his residence in Edison.

Mr. Fountain was an employee of Farris Plywood Co. in Cuthbert. He was born July 12, 1909, in Taylor County, a son of the late Thomas J. and Lucine Daniel Fountain.

Funeral was held at 11 a.m., June 27, at Edison Baptist Church with Rev. A. H. Bazemore officiating. Burial was in Cedar Hills Cemetery in Dawson.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lois Wills Fountain; a daughter, Miss Carol Jean Fountain; a son, Robert Hugh Fountain all of Edison; a brother, A. J. Fountain, Reynolds; three sisters, Mrs. Susie Woods and Mrs. R. E. Aultman of Reynolds and Mrs. L. M. Doyel of Butler; and several nieces and nephews.
