John S. Goodwin

Services for John Sharp Goodwin were held Saturday, Jan. 17 at 2 p.m. from Lake Baptist Church in Lake with Rev. Herman Kelly and the Rev. Malcolm Lewis officiating. Burial was in Pine Ridge Cemetery with Stephens Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Goodwin, 77, Little Rock, died January 14 at Riley Memorial Hospital. The native of Scott County was a truck driver. He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Doris Richardson, Newton, Peggy Mitchell, Lake and Glenda Lewis, Gulfport; two sons, James Goodwin, Newton and Teddy Goodwin, Magee; a sister, Mattie McMillan, Lake; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
