JOHN BYRD

John Shelton Byrd, age 67, of Little Rock, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2002. He was a graduate of Little Rock Central High School and a Signal Corp Army Veteran. He was self-employed in heating and air-conditioning.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Elsie Byrd; and a son, Brian “Buddy” Byrd.

Survivors include a son, Barry Wayne Byrd of Little Rock; a daughter, Cheryl Kay Miller of Jacksonville; five grandchildren, Joshua Miller, Steven Miller, Christopher Miller, Alaina Byrd, and Cody Byrd.

Visitation will be 5:00 -- 7:00 p.m. Saturday, September 28, 2002 at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Custom Funerals & Cremations, 5800 West 12th Street, Little Rock, 661-9111.

The cremated remains will be interred 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 30, 2002 at Roselawn Cemetery.
