John B. Traxler

RIDGELAND - John B. Traxler, 69, a retired sales representative, died of cancer Wednesday at St. Dominic/Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Graveside services are 11 a.m. today in Terry Cemetery with a memorial service afterwards at Southside Assembly of God. Ott & Lee Funeral Home of Brandon is handling arrangements.

Mr. Traxler was a Polkville native. He was a former resident of Bella Vista, Ark., and Jackson, living in Ridgeland for the past six months.

Mr. Traxler was an avid fisher and golfer. He was a member of the Riley Group, a club of golfers in Bella Vista.

Survivors include: wife, Elsie sons, Kendall Traxler of Jackson, Keith Traxler of Terry and Greg Traxler of Lake Tahoe, Nev. and two grandchildren.
