JOHN T. JONES
DODSON, Oct. 15 (Special) -- Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon for John T. Jones, 71, who died in a Monroe hospital after a long illness.
Services were held at Cypress Creek Baptist church with the pastor officiating. Interment was in the Cypress Creek cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral home of Jonesboro.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Willie Jones; one son, Grady Jones, of Dodson; one daughter, Mrs. Alta Moberly of Joliet, Ill.; three sisters, Mrs. Rosa Woolsey, a resident of Texas; Mrs. Martha Ezell of Corpus Christi, Tex., and Mrs. Docie Jones of Cypress Creek; four brothers, Lish Jones of Dodson, Willie Joes of Maypearl, Tex., and Chester Jones and Henry Jones, both of Darnell; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
