John T. Lincecum

Funeral services for John T. Lincecum will be held Friday, September 29, 2006 at 10 a.m. in the Lincecum Baptist Church, Georgetown with Rev. Jimmy Griffin, Rev. Lamar Carpenter and Rev. Jim Winegart officiating. Interment will follow in the Lincecum Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Jena.

Mr. Lincecum, age 64, of Georgetown, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria.

He was a game biologist with the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries for 33 years. He was also an avid outdoorsman, hunting throughout the south including Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi and Alabama for deer, turkey and squirrel and fishing for all species of fish.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Mrs. Darla Haddox Lincecum of Georgetown; son, Wesley Lincecum of Georgetown; sister, Betty Lincecum Shelton and her husband Harvey of Georgetown; special cousin, Tom Sessions; sister-in-law, Penny Kiser and husband David of Pineville.

Friends may call at the church in Georgetown from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. Thursday and Friday until services at 10 a.m.
