Vinzant Services Held At Lorena

Funeral services were conducted from the Lorena Baptist church May 11, at 3:00 p.m., for John F. Vinzant, 57, a resident of 422 South Congress Street in Jackson. Mr. Vinzant had been in failing health for about three months. Rev. G. T. Henderson officiated at the service with burial in the Lorena cemetery.

He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Mazell Monk and Mrs. Dorothy Clingam, both of Rt. 2, Forest, one son, Verlon Vinzant of Jackson, three sisters, Mrs. Phebe Hawkins and Mrs. Mollie Arinder, of Rt. 2, Forest, Mrs. Betty Hawkins, Chestnut, La., four brothers, Wade and Joe Vinzant of Chestnut, La., Marion Vinzant of Zwalla [sic Zwolle], La., H. W. Vinzant of Jackson and six grandchildren.

The pallbearers were chosen from friends, with Ott and Lee in charge of arrangements.
