FUNERAL OF J. W. MIZELL
Funeral service for J. W. Mizell was held Saturday, March 12, 1949 at 2:30 p.m. at the family residence in Forest Hill, La., with Rev. Sidney Mayeux officiating, assisted by Rev. W. J. Johnson, Rev. J. B. Body, Rev. K. K. Corkern, and Rev. E. A. Keasler. Interment was in the Butter cemetery near Forest Hill under the direction of First National Funeral home.
Pallbearers, members of the Woodmen of the World, were W. H. Chevalier, D. C. Perry, Bill Redell, Lossie Butter, Ivan L. Butter, and Earl Butter.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Clara Idella Mizell, six children, Mrs. Effie Lee O'Neal of Pineville, Mrs. Marguerite F. Robinson of Portland, Maine, Guy of Sulphur, Fay of DeRidder, James Isom and Lamar Mizell of Alexandria, six grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. W. F. Goodnight of Glenmore, Mrs. J. M. Cook of Oakdale, and Mrs. H. C. Dozier of San Antonio, Tex., and three brothers, L. H. Mizell, E. W. Mizell, Sr., and T. E. Mizell, Sr., all of Forest Hill.
