Rites Held Saturday For John W. POWERS

Services for John W. Powers, who died at the family residence at 2753 37th S. W., at the age of 53, were held at the chapel of Daniels and Brinton on Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, with Dr. C. A. Taylor of St. Mark's Episcopal Church officiating. Music was rendered by Mrs. Ruth Osborne Boyer.

Mr. Powers was born in Nebraska but had lived in Seattle for the last twenty years, and was a member of the Moose Lodge. He is survived only by his niece, Mrs. Hazel Holdren of Seattle, and his nephew John Swenson of Nebraska, his wife having previously died on July 31.
