John W. Kelly Succumbs at 89
John Wesley Kelly, 89, 5708 Kent St., died at 2:30 p.m. today in a local hospital after a brief illness.
Kelly, who was a native of Choctaw County, Miss., had lived here for the past few months. He was a retired farmer.
Immediate survivors include one daughter, Mrs. W. T. Curlin of Shreveport; two sons, S. B. Kelly of Maricabo, Venezuela, and E. E. Kelly of Pleasanton, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. A. J. Barlow of Oxnard, Calif., and Mrs. Victoria Bushong of Avondale, Ariz., and four brothers, Jessie and Hardy, both of Avondale, C. E. Kelly of Phoenix, Ariz., and R. L. Kelly of Mathiston, Miss.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete pending arrival of the out-of-town relatives. Rose-Neath Funeral Home is in charge.
