John Wiley Williams

John Wiley Williams, 74, of Pineville, died at 10:20 p.m. Friday in Veterans Administration Hospital. He was a member of Tioga Baptist Church [and] had worked in Continental Trailways' maintenance department 23 years before his retirement.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Willie V. Lofton Williams of Pineville; a son, Gordan W. Williams of Hughes Springs, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. T. J. O'Neal of Hughes Springs, Tex., and Mrs. John H. Despino of Colfax; a brother, Elvin Waits of Alexandria; a sister, Mrs. F. E. Warren of Hodge; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Hixson Bros., Pineville. Services will be held at 3 p.m. today in Tioga Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Tioga Cemetery.
