Johnnie B. White

Johnnie Bell White, 87, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2012, in Webster, Texas. She was born in Newellton, Louisiana on February 25, 1925.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Maggie Girod; her brothers, Russell Girod, Hershel Girod, Bobby Girod and Preston Girod; sisters, Edna Moe, Joyce Davis and Dixie Griffin; and her husband William (Bill) White.
Johnnie retired from Lockheed Martin Corporation located at the NASA Johnson Space Center. She will be missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her sons, Larry Myers and wife Jeanette; Gary Myers and wife Myra; granddaughters, Holly Myers and Tammy Myers Pantermuehl; and great-grandson Tyler Pantermuehl and numerous nieces and nephews. Her greatest gifts in life were her twin boys, granddaughters and great-grandson.
Johnnie spent the last few years of her life under the loving care of the Heritage House (an assisted living facility in Pasadena, Texas). Her family is eternally grateful for their love and care.
Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 10, 2012 at the Forest Park East Chapel, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, Texas, with Chaplain Marc Bierma officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
