JOHNNIE MAE C. MCADAMS

We are who we are because you loved us! Johnnie Mae (Caraway) McAdams passed away September 7, 2006 in her Magnolia Texas home. Services will be held Thursday September 14th at 10 A.M. at the Magnolia United Methodist Church, 419 Commerce Street, Magnolia TX 77355.

Johnnie Mae was born August 13, 1928 in Livingston, La., the daughter of Bessie Elizabeth Mae and John Marshall Caraway. She was a 1945 valedictorian graduate of Denham Springs High. On March 13th, 1948 Johnnie Mae married her high school sweetheart James Hollis McAdams Jr. In 1961 she and her family moved to Texas. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She loved to sew, cook, watch her favorite sports teams and spend time with family and friends. She will be terribly missed by so many.

Survivors include her husband Hollis, her two sons and their wives; James & Maria McAdams of Houston, Texas, Kevin & LindaMcAdams of Conroe, Texas, her daughter and husband; Shannon & John Love of Sioux City, Iowa. Seven grandchildren; John, Mary, Claire, & Patrick McAdams, Katie, Mallory, & Colleen Love.

She was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws, and daughter-in-law Patricia McAdams.
