Died at 12:20 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 7, 1978, at St. Helena Parish Hospital, Greensburg. He was 53, a native of Jackson and a resident of Kentwood.

Body at McKneely Funeral Home, Kentwood, with visiting until funeral time Friday. Religious services at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel. Burial in Woodland Cemetery.

Survived by his fiancee, Mollie Carter, Kentwood; two sons, John A. Terrell, Baton Rouge, and Virgil L. Terrell, Denham Springs; mother, Mrs. Mattie H. Terrell, Jackson; a sister, Mrs. Eva Spence, Watson; and 12 grandchildren.
