Funeral services for Johnny R. Dannehl, age 62 of Columbia will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 30, 2006 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Eddie Riley and Rev. Mike Green officiating. Interment will follow at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson.

Mr. Dannehl was born on February 19, 1944 to the union of his parents Richard and Elaine Hall Dannehl and died Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at Citizens Medical Center in Columbia.

He was a retired planer operator who worked for Kitchens Brothers. He loved fishing and gardening. He was a caring person who was loved by everyone.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Evelyn Lanore [sic Lenoir] and Terri Dannehl.

Survivors include his wife, Lendia of Columbia; two sons, John R. Dannehl and his wife, Brandy of Columbia and David Montgomery and his wife, Jennifer of Columbia; two daughters, Tonya Brown and husband, Timmy of Columbia and Tammy Couch and husband, Mike of Jena; two step-daughters, Sandra Gill and husband, Jimmy of Winnsboro and Vickie Huff and husband, Paul of Winnsboro; six brothers, Buddy Dannehl, Jake Dannehl, Robert Dannehl, Larry Dannehl and Ricky Dannehl all of Columbia; seven sisters, Doris Wiggins, Francis Oliveaux and Kay Talbert all of Columbia, Louise Little of Monroe, Dana Palamo of West Monroe and Rose Mary Thompson of Coose Bay, OR; one half brother, Tom Dannehl of Rayville.

Pallbearers will be Terry Johnson, Darren Dannehl, Kenny Dannehl, John Sears, Robert Cubbit, Joe Cubbit and Chad Dannehl.

Visitation will be from 8:00 AM until time of service on Thursday March 30, 2006 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia.
