Jonnie N. Statham
Jonnie Netterville Statham, 84, of Summit, died Feb. 21, 2009, at Cardiovascular Institute of Mississippi in McComb.
Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Hollywood Cemetery. Dr. David Millican will officiate. Catchings Funeral Home in McComb is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Statham was born March 22, 1924, in Wilkerson County. She was the daughter of Dorsey Malcom Netterville and Veda Townsend Netterville.
She was a retired beautician, having owned her own shop in East McComb. She was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Statham was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold H. Statham; and one brother, Dorsey Malcom Netterville Jr.
Survivors include one son, William Dorsey Statham of Summit.; two daughters, Laura Alice Statham of Summit and Melanie Statham Priest and her husband Harry of Gloster; two sisters, Mittie Lou Netterville Haynes of Norwood, La., and Imogene Netterville Barker of McComb; six grandchildren, Risha Holmes of Hattiesburg, Rachael McKinny and her husband Stewart of Brandon, Melissa Statham of Chicago, William Jeffrey Priest, Hunter Priest and his wife Michelle and Jon Adam Priest and his wife Misty; six great-grandchildren, Bonnie Brooke Cocroft, Alexander Holmes, Julia McKinney, Caroline McKinney, Katlin Priest and Hanna Priest; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Andrews Mission, 821 A. LaBranch St., McComb, MS 39648.
