Cockerham Services Scheduled
ITALY (DLC) -- Joseph Allen Cockerham, 97, retired farmer and resident of Ellis County for many years, died at his home here Friday.
Funeral services will be held at the Rudolph-Owens Chapel of the Chimes in Waxahachie at 4 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.
Mr. Cockerham was a retired farmer. He was a member of South Prong Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, William F. Cockerham of Poteet and Francis H. Cockerham of Cleburne; seven daughters, Mrs. Ola Wade of Fort Worth, Mrs. Letha Graves of Palmer, Mrs. Cynthia Graves of Corsicana, Mrs. Ida Hart of Austin, Mrs. Myrtle Carver of Comanche and Mrs. Opel Sloan and Mrs. Louise West, both of San Angelo; a brother, C. D. Cockerham of Forest, La., and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
