Joseph Hollis Hammack
Joseph Hollis Hammack, 86, of 2100 Schaul St., Columbus, died Saturday at St. Francis Hospital.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Wynnton United Methodist Church, with burial in Parkhill Cemetery, according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus.
Mr. Hammack was born Sept. 30, 1909, in Butler, Ga., son of Ada Virginia Fountain and Nathan Bussey Hammack. He retired as route supervisor for Flavorich Dairies in 1975 after 33 years. He had lived in Columbus most of his life and was a member of Wynnton United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Louise; three sons, William J. Hammack of Fortson, Robert Lavender Hammack of Butler and Robert Lee Rozelle of Houston; a daughter, Helen Louise Rugg of Columbus; two sisters, Ann Garrett of Brenham, Texas and Mary Hammack of Ideal, Ga.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
