Joe H. Duhon Dies At Home

TEXAS CITY. Jan 3 -- The body of Joe H. Duhon, 56, cafe operator here for 20 years, will be sent to Crowley, La., by Emken-Linton Funeral Home, Thursday, for last rites to take place at 2 p.m. in the Ferguson chapel. Burial will be in Crowley Cemetery.

Duhon died suddenly early Tuesday following an acute heart attack in his home, located at Logan street and Highway 146. He was a native of Crowley.

Survivors include his widow, the former Georgia Toule; a son, J. W. Duhon; two stepsons, O. F. Bell and Lloyd Bell; and a daughter, Mrs. Beatrice Carey, all of Dallas.

He leaves a sister, Mrs. Mim Robinson of 1517 24th street, Galveston; and a brother, Henry Duhon of Crowley.
