Joseph D. ‘Joe’ Iasigi
ATKINS, Ark. -- Joseph D. “Joe” Iasigi, 69, died Thursday, Oct. 9, 1997 at his Russellville, Ark., home.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lemley Funeral Service in Atkins, Ark.
Mr. Iasigi, a Mississippi City native, was a former Bentonia resident. He was a retired field engineer and draftsman. He was a member of Scottish Rite Bodies of Little Rock and Masonic Lodge 42 of Yazoo City.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Jean Hester Iasigi of Russellville; two sons, Joseph D. “Mel” Iasigi Jr. of Brookhaven and William C. “Bill” Iasigi of Gillsburg; a daughter, Mona Iasigi Saxton of Benton; three grandsons; and a granddaughter.
Burial was in Bakers Creek Cemetery with Masonic rites. The Rev. Jeff P. Cheatham officiated.
Pallbearers were Jack Morden, Dan Duerr, Dale Hon, J.D. Younger, Don Price and Joe Phiefer. Honorary pallbearers were Dr. William T. Robinson and Dr. Mike Hendren.
