Josephine Arinder Tingle, 86, of Plummer Circle, a former salesperson, died of a heart attack Wednesday at Methodist Medical Center.

Services are 1 p.m. Saturday at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home with burial in Lakewood Memorial Park. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Tingle, a Madison County native, had lived in Hinds County most of her life. She worked as a salesperson in various women's fashion stores many years ago and had been a homemaker for several years.

She was a member of Covenant Christian Church.

Survivors include: son, Alton C. Morris of Jackson; daughter, Jewel Carter of Jackson; and five granddaughters, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
