DEATH CLAIMS KELLY WOMAN
Friends in this parish were very much shocked to hear of the death of Mrs. T. J. Dunn, 70, well known and beloved lady of Kelly, who passed away around 6:30 o'clock Tuesday morning, May 28.
Funeral services were held the following morning, May 29, with the Rev. F. L. Hearne of West Monroe in charge of the services, assisted by Rev. I. A. Yeager of Monroe. Services were held at the Kelly Methodist church and interment was made in the Welcome Home cemetery near Grayson, under the direction of the Riser Funeral Home.
Mrs. Dunn is survived by her husband Thompson Dunn; two sons, Elmer Dunn of Baton Rouge and Damon Dunn of Mo[n]roe; four daughters, Mrs. E. L. Meredith of Jonesboro; Mrs. Dewe[y] Butler of Shreveport; Mrs. D. I. Hinton of Start; and Mrs. Pearl Child[s] of Kelly. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and one [great] grandchild.
Mrs. Dunn was a sister of C. C. and Monroe Jarrell of this city, and Dr. Lum Jarrell of Alexandria.
Active pallbearers were C. C. Hargrove, Dewey Butler, Curtis Squires, Frank C. Cruse, Robert Reitzell and Henry Kinnison.

MRS. JOSEPHINE DUNN
Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine Jarrell Dunn, 71, of Kelly, La., who died May 28, were held at the Methodist church, with Rev. F. L. Hearn and Rev. Ira Yeager of Monroe officiating. Interment followed at Welcome Home cemetery, with the O. E. S. in charge.
Pallbearers were F. C. Cruse, C. C. Hargrove, R. P. Reitzell, Henry Kinnison, D. L. Butler, and Cartis Squires.
She was a member of the Radiant chapter, No. 41, of the O. E. S. of Olla, La., where she served as a star point.
She is survived by her husband, T. J. Dunn, Kelly; two sons, E. J. Dunn, Baton Rouge; D. J. Dunn, Monroe; four daughters, Mrs. H. D. Butler, Shreveport; Mrs. D. R. Hinton, Start; Mrs. E. L. Meredith, Jonesboro; Mrs. R. C. Childs, Baton Rouge; and nine grandsons and one great granddaughter.
