JOSEPHINE LEE SEILA
LENOIR - Josephine Lee Seila, 80, of Pennell St. NE, died Saturday April 28, 2001, at Caldwell Memorial Hospital. She was born April 20, 1921 in Selma, NC, to the late Burchell Bernard Lee and Sally Wright Lee. Josephine was a member of the Caldwell Arts Council and NC Watercolor Society. She was also taking art classes at Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute.
Funeral service 2 p.m. Tuesday May 2, 2001, at Lower Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Phil Frady officiating. Burial, church cemetery. Pallbearers: Geoffrey Clarke Seila
David Seila, Joseph Seila, Chesley Goldston, Martin Lee, and Mark Collins.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Seila; three brothers, Euller, Floyd and Julian Lee; and two sisters, Velma Goldston and Mozelle Collins.
Survivors include: sons, Robert L. Seila of Cary, Andrew F. Seila of Athens, GA, and William T. Seila of Inola, OK; brother, Bernard Lee of Bullock, NC; and seven grandchildren.
The family will receive friends one hour (1:00 p.m.) before the service at Lower Creek Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to Caldwell Arts Council, P.O. Box 1613
