JOSIE ANN PARKER CAMPBELL

Funeral services for Mrs. Campbell, 90, will be held at Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel, Monday, July 31, 2006 at 2:30PM. Dr. Pat Day will officiate. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00PM until 8:00PM, Sunday, July 30, 2006.

Mrs. Campbell was born on July 17, 1916 in Sikes, LA to Joseph Reuben Parker and Alice Rose Pepper Parker. She passed away July 29, 2006 in Bossier City, LA. She graduated in 1933 from Sikes High School (she was the last known surviving class member) and was a graduate of Bish- Mathis Institute in Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Campbell retired from CSI Press and was a member of Willow Point Baptist Church and the Faith Sunday School Class. She was a member of Toastmistress International. She was descended from the Pepper and Parker families in Winn Parish.

Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her son, Marty Lane Campbell of Shreveport, LA; parents, Joseph Reuben Parker of Jonesboro, LA, and Alice Rose Pepper Parker, Gaars Mills, LA; sisters, Minnie Lee Waldrop of Grayson, LA; and Myrtis Marie Whitman of Hodge, LA; brother, Dewitt Parker of West Monroe, LA; half sister, Mary Frances Johnson of Jonesboro, LA; grandson-in-law, Clayton Gibbins of Shreveport, LA; and father of her children, Judson Campbell of Dodson, LA.

She is survived by daughters, Nell Adams and husband, Sam of West Monroe, LA, and Frances Campbell of Shreveport, LA (with whom she lived for the last five and one half years.); grandson, Jeff Adams and wife, Lori of West Monroe, LA; granddaughter, Michelle White and husband, Jesse of West Monroe, LA; granddaughter, Anne Anice Lewis and husband, Shane of Shreveport, LA; granddaughter, Regina Rowe and husband, Howard of Haughton, LA; grandsons, Brian Campbell and Dennis Campbell of Shreveport, LA; half sister, Billie Jo Ross of Seattle, WA; half brother, Joseph Dewitt Parker of Colorado; half sister, Annette Emanus and husband, Tommy of Hodge, LA; and half sister, Roxie Aldy and husband, David of Hodge, LA.

Ten great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins also survive Mrs. Campbell.
