Joyce Pinder Dies After Long Illness
Joyce Elaine Pinder, 24, of Winnfield, died Thursday at noon, October 26, 1972
in the Winnfield General Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Laurel Heights Baptist
Church with the Rev. George (Charles?) Haley officiating. Burial was in
Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of
Winnfield.
Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Pinder of Winnfield; three
brothers, Jesse Pinder, Robert Pinder, and James H. Pinder, all of Winnfield;
three sisters, Mrs. Doris Stuckey of West Monroe, Mrs. Nellie Faye Jordan and
Caroline Sue Pinder, both of Winnfield.
Pallbearers were James Machen, Clyde Jones, Cotton Mott, Owen Anders, Arnet
Garriss, and Dr. Henry Parker.
