Services for Mrs. Joyce Marie Johnston, 51, of West Monroe, will be 2 PM, Thursday, March 20, 2003, in Mulhearn Funeral Home, Sterlington Road, Monroe, with Rev. Shorty Leggett and Rev. John Hall officiating. Interment will be in Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Mrs. Johnston died Tuesday, March 18, 2003, at North Monroe Medical Center.
She was a member of Memorial Baptist Church. She was employed by the State of Louisiana as a SSE II. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ellen Holton; brothers, John Henry Holton and Charles Holton; and sister, Rosalee Fatheree.
Survivors include her husband, Buddy A. Johnston of Monroe; son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Melissa Johnston of West Monroe; son, Jerimy Lee Johnston of West Monroe; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Michael Dulaney of West Monroe; grandchildren, Bobby Austin Johnston, Megan Anne Johnston, and Joshua Heath Hoff; brother, Michael ``Mitchell'' Holton of West Monroe; sisters and brothers-in-law, Vernie and Richard Jones of West Monroe, Rebecca and Jimmy Briggs of New Boston, TX, and Dorothy and Johnny Deville of Rayville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Richard Jones, Jimmy Briggs, Frank Wilcox, Clearance Pemberton, Ken Nix, and Fred Parker.
