Mrs. Juanita Crain Kidd

MINDEN, LA - Mrs. Juanita Crain Kidd, 83, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 1998. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 29, 1998 at Antioch Baptist Church near Dixie Inn, LA with Rev. Malcolm Self officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory, Minden, LA.

Mrs. Kidd is survived by her husband of 65 years, Hershel Kidd; one son, Billy H. Kidd and wife, Leverne of Minden, LA; two daughters, Anita Faye Braswell of Bossier City, LA and Rita Peaker and husband, Butch of Minden; five grandchildren, Mark Braswell and wife, Cindy; Robert Kidd and wife, Jenell; Sabrina Nicholas and husband, Don; Scott Peaker; Angela Peaker; and 11 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Kidd is also survived by two sisters, Billie [sic Lillie] Byrd and husband, Bill of Silver Spring, MD and Myrtis Gaar of Dodson, LA and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Kidd will be remembered by all those who loved her as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who always put her family and church first. She was a very strong Christian and loved her church very much.

Pallbearers will be Mark Braswell, Robert Kidd, Scott Peaker, Don Nicholas, Marvin Crain and Bobby Moody.
