Juanita Ione Pletcher
Juanita Ione Pletcher, 84, formerly of Harlingen area, passed away on June 15, 2011 in Austin. She was born on November 23, 1926 in Alpena, MI to Fred and Gladys Johnson.
She and her late husband, Samuel Jacob Pletcher and their two children ... owned and operated a citrus grove in La Feria, Texas for several years. She will be remembered as a loving wife, caring mother and grandmother to the family.
She is survived by son, Denver and wife, Shelia; daughter, Julie Pletcher; grandchildren, Brad Pletcher and wife, Allyson, Kyle Pletcher and wife, Jessica, and Ryan Nunn; great grandsons, Jake and Ethan Pletcher; sister, Millie Bass; brother-in-law, Roy Pletcher and Louise and sister-in-law, Barbara Pletcher.
A chapel service will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 18, 2011 at Harrell Funeral Home in Kyle, Texas. Interment will be held 3:00 P.M. Monday, June 20, 2011 at Restlawn Memorial Park, La Feria, Texas.
