JUDITH O. CARMINE Postal Service Executive

Judith O. Carmine, 39, a general manager in the U.S. Postal Service's networks analysis and requirements division, died of cancer Dec. 25 at Alexandria Hospital. She lived in Fairfax Station.

Mrs. Carmine was born in Washington and grew up in the Springfield area. She was a 1967 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in Springfield and a 1970 graduate of the University of North Carolina. She worked for the Navy Department for three years before joining the Postal Service, where she had worked since 1973.

Survivors include her husband, James, and a son, Brian, both of Fairfax Station, and her parents, Oral D. and Elizabeth L. Ozment of Alexandria.
