Judson `Judd' Rollins
Judson ``Judd'' Rollins, 83, of Gloster, died Dec.26, 2004, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.
Visitation is 6 to 9 tonight at Brown Funeral Home in Gloster. Visitation continues at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at New Hope Methodist Protestant Church, until services there at 2 p.m. The Rev. Robert Toney and the Rev. John Gerald will officiate. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery in Gloster.
Mr. Rollins was born Feb. 21, 1921, in Amite County. He was the son of Emmitt Rollins and Mary Alice Whittington Rollins.
He was a retired service station manager in Baton Rouge, La. He was a member of New Hope Methodist Protestant Church.
Mr. Rollins was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Street, Carl and Mann Rollins; and three sisters, Nina Jackson, Neva Whittington and Audie Guice.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Margie Durham Rollins of Gloster; and three sisters, Pauline R. Reeves of Gloster, and Mary Lula Rollins Whittington and Leola R. Whittington, both of Livingston, La.
Pallbearers will be Sammie Whittington, Leon Whittington, Marcell Reeves, Odell Rollins, B.C. Hall, Clark Jackson, Neil Rollins and Ron Hall.
