Juett Belle Slay

SHREVEPORT

Graveside services for Mrs. Juett Belle Slay, 79, 440 Columbia, will be at 2 p.m. Sat. Feb. 7 at Forest Park Cemetery, Rev. David Laverty, Pastor of Broadmoor Presbyterian Church, where she was a member, officiating; under the direction of Rose-Neath Marshall St. Chapel.

She died at 11 p.m. Feb. 5, 1981 at La. Nursing Home following a long illness.

Mrs. Slay, born in Winnfield, La. and a resident of Shreveport most of her life, was retired from Cities Service Oil Co. She worked with the Blind Association on Easter Baskets.

Survivors include one son, Bob Slay of Baton Rouge, La.; one daughter, Mrs. Peggy Murphy of Shreveport; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers: Michael L. Juneau, Michael T. Murphy, James R. Slay, Jr. and Christopher A. Slay.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Louisiana State University School of Medicine, Attention: Dr. Alan Grosbach, Section of Hematology/Oncology Memorial Research Fund or Broadmoor Presbyterian Church.
