Mrs. Juliet Jolly Wallace
SHREVEPORT, LA -- Graveside services for Mrs. Juliet Jolly Wallace, 91, will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 26, 1992 at Forest Park Cemetery under the direction of Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel. Officiating will be Reverend Monsignor Earl V. Provenza, V. F., rector of St. John Berchmans Cathedral.
Mrs. Wallace, a retired school teacher, died Monday, February 24, 1992 in Shreveport, La. after a brief illness. She was a native and former resident of Baton Rouge, La. and had resided in Shreveport since 1925. Mrs. Wallace was a member of St. John Berchmans Cathedral, past president of the Woman's Department Club, and a life member of the Shreveport Opera Guild. She was also active in the Marquette Study Club, Twentieth Century and Seminar Clubs, and the Era Club. Mrs. Wallace was a graduate of Louisiana State University where she received her Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees, and was a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority. Mrs. Wallace taught at Centenary College during World War II and Pleasant Hill Private School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Purcell Wallace, and her parents, Dr. E. M. Jolly and Mrs. Edna A. Jolly.
Survivors include three nephews, Edward Jolly, Memphis, Tn., Robert Jolly, Baton Rouge, La., and Scott Dunlop, Shreveport; one niece, Ellen C. Dunlop, Shreveport, La. and a number of great-nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to St. John Berchmans Cathedral or to the charity of the donor's choice.
