JULIUS D. SIMMONS
Julius D. Simmons, 86, Taylorsville, died Tuesday at Jones County Community Hospital after a brief illness.
A resident of Taylorsville, Mr. Simmons was a member of Summerland Baptist Church and a Mason.
Visitation will begin today at 5 p.m. at Memory Chapel Funeral Home.
The funeral will take place Thursday at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Union Line Cemetery.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ollie Knight Simmons, Taylorsville; four daughters, Mrs. Dale Corley, Laurel, Mrs. Latrice Wade, Soso, Mrs. Helen West, Houston, Texas, and Mrs. Ann Moss, St. Louis, Mo.; one sister, Mrs. Jude Hall, Ellisville; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and other relatives.
Memory Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
