Julius M. Freeman Dies at 66
Funeral services for Julius M. Freeman, 66, were held at 3 p.m. today in Montgomery Baptist Church.
Mr. Freeman, a watchman, died at 3:50 p.m. Wednesday in the McComb Infirmary.
Born Jan. 5, 1903 in Amite County, he was a resident of 711 Beech at the time of his death.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Julius M. Freeman; four daughters, Mrs. Marvin Moak, Summit, Mrs. J. B. Hunt, Mrs. Alton Cutrer Jr., Mrs. Edward Yates, all of McComb; one son, Pete Bardwell, Chalmette, La.
Also surviving are three brothers, Wren, Alcus and Hozie Freeman, all of Summit; four sisters, Mrs. Clarence Wallace, Miss Dixie Freeman, Mrs. Ocie Frangten [sic Osie Franton], all of Summit, Mrs. Wardell Britt, Jackson; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Rev. Bill Jetton and Rev. G. E. Harden officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery with Catchings Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
