GROVES -- June Corley Dendy, 79, of Groves died Friday, Nov. 15, 2002, at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur.
A native of Lynn, Mass., she lived in the Groves area for 55 years. She was a retired teacher with the Port Neches-Groves Independent School District with 28 years of service. She was a member of the United Methodist Temple in Port Arthur.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with the Rev. Bryan Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at a later date.
Survivors include her husband, Glin Dendy; her daughters, Susan Humphrey of Port Arthur, Jo Ann Reinstra of Nederland and Barbara Sparkman of San Antonio; a son, Tex Corley of Houston; three brothers, Harry Durgin Jr. of Lake Tahoe, Calif., Roger Durgin of Peabody, Mass. and Richard Durgin of El Mira, N.Y.; and two grandchildren.
