K. G. Dampier

Funeral services for K. G. Dampier, 92, Wisner were held Saturday at the Wisner Assembly of God Church with the Rev. David Oliver and Rev. Don Blackmon officiating.

Interment followed at South Central Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home.

Mr. Dampier died Thursday at Rosalie Nursing Home in Wisner. He was a lifelong resident of Wisner and a retired taxi driver.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Marguerite Dampier, Wisner; two grandsons, William and Patricia Dampier, Brandon, Miss.; Daniel Wayne and Dianne Dampier, Shreveport; three great-grandsons, John Roy Dampier, Steven Dampier, Jason Dampier.

Pallbearers were Eldon Brown, Ronnie Jennings, Levi Mahony, Lawrence Young, Henry Allbritton and C. O. Cheatum [sic Cheatham].
