Karen Hall
Karen Hall, 69 years old of El Dorado, celebrated her home going to heaven on September 14, 2016 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. She was born in Jonesboro-Hodge Louisiana on March 10th 1947 to Emment Christopher Lowery and Quinnie Yvera Lowery whom preceded her in death.
Karen went to school in Jonesboro-Hodge where she met the love of her life Cary Joe Hall and were married for 47 years he preceded her in death to his heavenly home in 2009. She was a dedicated loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother sister and a great friend to so many whom she loved with all her being. She loved to cook for our family, crocheted, loved pretty flowers and music was her passion.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Faye Anderson and brother, Billy Lowery.
Those left to cherish her and that loved her with all their hearts were 2 daughters, Lisa Burton and husband Robert Burton of El Dorado Ar., Mona Bridges and her husband Terry Bridges of McNeil Ar.; one son, Joseph Hall and Sheryl Warren of Norphlet Ar.; 3 granddaughters, Amanda Dees and husband Jonathan Dees of Smackover Ar., Amber Taylor and husband Weston Taylor of Mt Holly Ar., Jessica Lewis and her husband Shea Harvey of Springhill La.; 3 grandsons, Joel Hall from Lubbock Texas now in college in Baltimore County Maryland University, Conner and Heath Hall of Hot Springs Ar.; 9 great grandchildren, Brooke Dees Jaxson Dees and Emma Grayce Dees of Smackover Ar., LeAnna , John, Kimber and a beautiful set of twins girls Ember and Emory Taylor of Mt Holly Ar., Haleigh Grace Harvey and Harper Gemma Harvey that will be here in November. Also surviving her are 2 beautiful precious sisters, Nancy Bryant of Jonesboro La. and Janis Fletcher of West Monroe La.; 2 special friends that were like her sisters for years, Mickey Woods of Buena Vista Ar. and Ann Roden of Hodge La.; she is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and our fathers twin brother, Gene Hall of Jonesboro La.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Dees, Curt Dees, Nolan Woods, Terry Bridges, Tracy Franklin and Chris Clark with Jr Pallbearers will be her 2 grandsons Connor and Heath Hall and Great Grandson Jaxson Dees.
Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, September 17th, from 6-8pm at Young's Funeral Home in El Dorado Ar. Funeral services will be Sunday, September 18th, at Young's Chapel at 2pm officiated by Pastor Leon Dixon. Interment will follow to lay her to rest at Mount Holly Cemetery under the direction of Young's.
Memorials may be given to UCAPS in El Dorado in thoughts of her beloved companion Boo Boo her 10 year old cat that she loved so much and for her love of animals of all kinds.
