SIKES -- Services for Karl L. Womack were at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Hart Assembly of God Church with the Revs. Huey White and Davis Womack officiating. Burial was in the Wright Cemetery under direction of Southern, Winnfield.
Womack, 72 of Sikes died Monday, Dec. 20, 1999, in the Winn Parish Medical Center.
He was a Winn Parish native and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II. He was a member of Hart Assembly of God Church and was a justice of the peace for 28 years and was a logging contractor.
Survivors are his wife, Eunice H. Womack of Sikes; two sons: Lane Womack and Kenneth Womack, both of Sikes; three daughters, Barbara McCarty of Sikes, Rita James of Winnfield, and Rachel Crosby; his mother, Lona H. Womack; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Scott James, Brock McCarty, Paul David McCarty, Kevin Womack, Klint Womack and Terry Womack.
