Kary Tatum

HENDERSON -- Services for Kary C. Tatum, 67, will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Carlisle Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Powell and Rev. John R. Webb officiating.

Tatum died Thursday morning in the Henderson Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.

Burial will be at the Black Jack Cemetery.

Tatum was born Jan. 1, 1905 in Wesson, Ark. and had lived at Carlisle for 41 years. He was a retired pumper employed by the Marathon Co. in Carlisle. He was also a deacon in the Carlisle Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Zelma [sic Velma] of Henderson; one son, K. B. Tatum of Longview; one brother, Joe R. Tatum of New Iberia, La.; two granddaughters.
