BATON ROUGE, LA - Services for Mrs. Kathleen Smith Lanigan, 68, will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, February 10, 1990 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel.
Mrs. Lanigan died at 12:40 p.m., Wednesday, February 7, 1990 at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, La. following a short illness. She was born in Pineville, La, was a former resident of Shreveport and resided in Baton Rouge for 14 years. Mrs. Lanigan was [a] Baptist, a nationally known Artist and Painter and a member of the Louisiana Arts Guild.
She is survived by her husband, William A. Lanigan, Jr. of Baton Rouge, La.; one son, William A. Lanigan III of Jackson, Miss.; three grandchildren, William A. Lanigan IV, Benjamin Martin Lanigan and Rachel Erin Lanigan; one sister, Birdie L. Smith of Shreveport; cousin, Alton Warwick of Shreveport, several nieces and nephews.
