CALLOWAY, KATHRYN AMELIA
A resident of Baton Rouge, she died about 5:25 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, 1998, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 72, a former longtime resident of Baker and a native of Gloster, Miss. Visiting at Baker Funeral Home, 6401 Groom Road, Baker, 9 a.m. Saturday until religious services at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Ed Dilworth of First United Methodist Church of Baker. Interment in Oaklawn Cemetery, Centreville, Miss.
Survived by a daughter, Vickie L. Calloway, Baton Rouge; a son and daughter-in-law, Lonnie Keith and Shahn Calloway, Baton Rouge; a stepson and stepdaughter-in-law, Joe Ed and Gayle Calloway, Baker; three sisters, Jency Reynolds, Alexandria, Helen Hinton, Gloster, and Betty Voorhies, Baton Rouge; two grandchildren, Sharae Koon Varner and Margaret Amelia Calloway, both of Baton Rouge; four stepgrandchildren, Joe Brent Calloway, Debbie Brooks, Stacy Dinot and Jeff Calloway; a great-grandchild, Kathryn Camille Varner, Baton Rouge; and five stepgreat-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by husband, Lonnie Ray ``Buddy'' Calloway; mother, father and two brothers. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Baker.
