Dodgen, Kathryn

Kathryn Ford Dodgen passed away August 16th, 2009. Born January 27, 1921, she graduated as valedictorian of Colfax High in 1937. She went on to graduate from Louisiana Tech University in 1941.

Kathryn married Claude W. Dodgens Jr. in 1947. They were married 51 years and had three children; Bill, Mary and Bob.

Kathryn is preceded in death by her husband, Claude, and son, Bill.

She is survived by her sister, Dina Fraser, daughter, Mary Pratt and husband, David, son, Bob Dodgen and wife, Karen, grandchildren, Rayman Kinman, Rachel Kinman Maze, Chelsea Dodgen and Samantha Dodgen as well as seven great-grandchildren.

Kathryn had a love of bridge, birds, fishing and family.

Private interment to be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
