Katie Etoile Alford, 81 of Farmerville, LA, died on Saturday, July 1, 2006. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 2, 2006 at Edmonds Funeral Home in Jonesboro, LA, from 4:00PM until 9:00PM.

Services will be held on Monday, July 3, 2006 at Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel in Jonesboro, LA, at 2:00PM. Officiating will be Sister Roberta Stipp, Bro. Gilbert Reese and Bro. Eric White.

Interment will be at Garden of Memories in Jonesboro, LA. Mrs. Alford was born on October 4, 1924 in Sikes, LA, she was a nurses aide.

She is survived by two daughters: Edith Rockett and husband Ricky of Spearsville, LA; Yvonne Summers and husband Tracy of Houston, TX; three sons: Lynn Alford and wife Peggy of Simsboro, LA, Mike Alford and wife Olivia of Frisco, TX, and Donny Alford and wife Donna of Downsville, LA; two sisters: Pauline Roberson of Winnfield, LA, and Barbara Hayward of Dodson, LA; five brothers: Morris Folden of Elizabethtown, KY, John Folden of Memphis, TN, Jack Folden of Winnfield, LA, Louie Folden of Winnfield, LA, and Carlie Ray Folden of Winnfield, LA. She was also survived by eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren

Pallbearers will be D.K. Alford, Rusty Rockett, John Rockett, Jeffery Alford, Travis Brinson and Jeremy Lamkin.
