WARDLAW, KATIE LEE MCKEITHEN

A resident of Baton Rouge for 55 years, she died at 4:50 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, 1998, at her home. She was 72, born in Columbia.

Visiting was at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Visiting at the funeral home chapel, 8 a.m. until religious services at 11 a.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Andy Wilson. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park.

Preceded in death by James Louis Wardlaw, husband; Timothy Doyle Wardlaw, son; William Monroe McKeithen, father; Nan Natalie Meredith McKeithen, mother; Edward Carlton McKeithen, brother; Helen Durham McKeithen, sister-in-law; William Aubrey McKeithen, brother; and grandparents.

Survived by a daughter, Lee Ann Wardlaw, Baton Rouge; twin sister, Natalie Eastwood and her husband, Jimmy, Kingwood, Texas; a niece, Dianne E. Spence and her husband, George, Kingwood; a nephew, Ronnie McKeithen, Sand Springs, Okla.; a sister-in-law, Virginia McKeithen, Monroe; a niece, Stacy M. Cupp and her husband, Charles and their children, Shreveport; a niece, Nancy M. Solito and her husband Chris and their children, Monroe; sisters-in-law, Edwina Toye, Lafayette, Norma Noble, Mollie and her husband, Jerry Smith, and Margaret Fletcher and her husband, Carroll, all of Baton Rouge; and family and friends.

She was a member of Broadmoor Presbyterian Church and Baton Rouge Chapter No. 163 of Order of the Eastern Star. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Research, Hospice of Baton Rouge or to Cancer Services of Baton Rouge.
