DUNBARTON -- Service for Katie Lee Mullins Tarver, 73, who died Friday, July 6, 2007, in Ferriday will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Clayton Pentecostal Church with the Rev. Melton Rushing officiating.
Burial will follow in Cypress Grove Cemetery.
Visitation is from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at the church.
Mrs. Tarver was born Jan. 18, 1934, the daughter of Luther Leon Mullins and Geneva Johnese Mullins.
She was a life long resident of Dunbarton, a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include her husband Guy Tarver; two sons, Donald Tarver of Marion, La., and Ronald Tarver of Denver; two brothers, Wesley Leon Mullins of Clayton and Harold Luther Mullins of Ferriday; seven sisters, Mary Franklin of Jonesville, Marie Dobson of Clayton, Louise Cowan of Baton Rouge, Margaret “Skeeter” Thompson of Winnsboro, La., Gladys Denny of Pearl, Linda McVay of Clayton and Barbara Jean Pounds of Tennessee; a special nephew, Tony Smith of Dunbarton; special niece, Brittney Smith of Dunbarton; six grandchildren, Matt Tarver of Vidalia, Jeremy and Dustin Tarver of Denver, Desiree and Chelsea Tarver of Marion, La., and Brittney Smith of Dunbarton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Tarver, Dustin Tarver, Matthew Tarver, Randy Wood, Edward Franklin, J.B. Denny, Danny Ray Knapp and Charlie Harris.
