Graveside services for Katie S. Carson were at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Pineville, with Dr. Lee Weems and the Rev. L.H. Dettmer officiating. Burial was under direction of Hixson Bros., Pineville.
Mrs. Carson, 93, of Pineville died at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.
She was a native of Liberty Hill, a former resident of Pitkin and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Guy Benson Carson of Folsom, Calif., and Billy S. Carson of Pineville; one daughter, Mary Glynn Gagneux of Pineville; one sister, Lela Mae Shively of Alexandria; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the W.M.U. Scholarship Fund at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Alexandria, La.
Pallbearers were John Stroud, John Gagneux, Sammy Melder, David Gagneux, Billy Carson Jr. and Terrell Thibodeaux.
