Keith Hall passed away on Monday, January 25, 2010 after a short illness. Memorial services will be held at the Friendship Baptist Church in Friendship, 16507 Hwy 4, Friday, January 29 at 1:00 p.m. Paster Robert Leach will be officiating.
Mr. Hall served in the National Guard. He raised the widely known Saline watermelons for many years where he gained lasting friends in production and sales. He was named Grand Marshall for the Saline Watermelon Festival in 2009.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carroll Hall and his brother-in-law, Jimmy Ralph Martin.
He is survived by his endearing wife of 40 years, Jean Henderson Hall, his mother, Hazel Collinsworth Hall both of Friendship, his sister, Gail Hall Martin of Denham Springs, his brother, Jodie Hall of Ruston, his niece and nephews, Alana Macaluso, Dustin Martin and Hunter Hall, his great nieces and nephew, Devin Martin, Alia martin and Amaya Macaluso.
Pallbearers will be, Jake Hay, Ryan Leach, Michael Phillips, Kelly Leach, Dustin Martin, Lindon Collinsworth and Rusty Autrey.
Thanks to Keith's closest and inseparable friend, Mitch Shoemaker and to Keith and Jean's extended families for their abiding love and care during Keith's illness and to Randy and Cleo (Winky) who were always available over the years to help.
