Kenneth Cloninger, Sr.

Services for Kenneth Cloninger, Sr. will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 20, 2008 in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers, Pineville with Reverend Wayne Spencer officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Will Kojis, Brandon Kojis, Chase Kojis, Danny Duplechain, Dale Duplechain and John Kojis. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Bridges, Mike Smith and Danny Brewster.

Mr. Cloninger, 80, of Alexandria passed away Saturday, February 16, 2008 at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.

He was a Navy Veteran of World War II and past president of the Bunkie Lions Club.

He was preceded in death by his wives, Audrey Nell Evans Cloninger and Billie Gulledge Cloninger; parents, Roy and Lela May Davis Cloninger; great grandchild, Brady Michael Smith; infant brother; sisters, Velma Cloninger Roy, Wilma Cloninger Allison and Johnnie Hammiker Alvarez.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Kenneth Ray Cloninger, Jr.; daughters, Barbara Bridges, Caran Smith, Carol Franks, Cathryn Kojis, and Ann Duplechain; fifteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; special friend, Billie Wilson.

Friends may call Tuesday at Hixson Brothers, Pineville from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 8 a.m. until service time.
