Kenneth G. Everett
DERIDDER -- Kenneth G. Everett, 69, died Sept. 4, 2003, in Christus St.
Patrick Hospital of Lake Charles.
Mr. Everett was born in DeRidder, where he was a lifelong resident. He
served in the U.S. Air Force and was a civil engineer for civil service
at Ft. Polk until his retirement. He was a member of the First Baptist
Church of DeRidder.
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Cooley Everett of DeRidder; two
sons, Curtis Wayne Everett and James Brett Everett, both of DeRidder;
two daughters, Karen Everett Cunningham and Sharon Everett Sammons, both
of DeRidder; one brother, Edward Everett of Denham Springs; one sister,
Virginia Bragg of DeRidder; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, in Hixson Funeral Home
of DeRidder. Dr. Whit Holmes and The Rev. Doyle Cooper will officiate.
Burial will be in Lewis Cemetery. Visitation is 4-10 p.m. today and from
8 a.m. Saturday.
