BELLVILLE -- Kenneth Donnie Hatton, 43, of Bellville, a former Victoria resident, died Friday at 9 p.m. at a Houston hospital.
The father of Tammie Vaughn, and brother of Bill Hatton, both of Victoria, Mr. Hatton had lived in Victoria for about 15 years, returning to Bellville five years ago.
He was born in Monroe, La., on Jan. 31, 1944. He married the former Carol Pfeffer on June 7, 1962, in Bellville.
Mr. Hatton was a surveyor for the Texas Department of Highways and Transportation.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Schmidt Funeral Home in Bellville. The Rev. Tom Wallace will officiate.
Burial will be in Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery.
In addition to his daughter and brother in Victoria, he is survived by his wife, Carol Hatton of Bellville; his parents, Elmer Hatton Sr. of Bellville and Noel Ogden Hatton Schrader of Ferriday, La.; a daughter, Sherrie Hatton of Bellville; a brother Elmer Hatton Jr. of Bellville, and a grandson.
